Ladee Bee Lands in The Junction

In the heart of the Dundas West strip known as The Junction, is another new stop on the TTC Knitalong. Thank you for joining us LadyBee.

This latest LYS had been operating as part of another retail establishment at this location.. They recently took over the whole of the two floor corner shop.

On the airy, sun filled, first floor you will find a lovely yarn selection that includes harder to find items like Ella Rae Lace Merino and Sakura Cotton. Spinners will be happy to hear of the roving available, hand-dyed by Turtlepurl and LadeeBee herself. They also carry cross stitch, embroidery and needle felting supplies. On the lower floor is a large table surrounded by a huge selection of beads and jewelry making supplies. There is ample seating on both floors to sit 'n knit.

The Junction is a family friendly neighbourhood and the store has responded by holding classes for both adults and children. Owner Melissa McColl hosts Crafty Kids Saturday afternoons on a drop in basis. Check out the Facebook page for deets on the weekly projects. The store is also occasional host to other arts and crafts events such as the upcoming June 21 Summer Solstice Fair.
LadeeBee looks forward to welcoming you on July 12. Those of you choosing a team with a midday stop there will be happy to find many great lunch and coffee options nearby.

Closest TTC: The #40 Junction bus between Dundas West Station & the Runnymede Loop passes very frequently with a stop right in front of the store.
